Hello everyone. The big TEST is just around the corner. As you know I've been doing the "Warm it up" (WIU) demos in some of your classrooms. Many of the students are very eager to take the test. So eager that they don't take the time to "warm it up."

The main purpose in this Dennis Parker bread and butter strategy is to have them slow down and think. If anything, the most important thing to do on the CST is to THINK. Read the title and THINK. Look at the graphics and THINK. Look at the text features and THINK. Skim, stop and THINK. Read, bounce back and THINK. THINK! THINK! THINK!

Our job is to help you help them. Tell me what you think of WIU. Tell us what we can do to help you. We want to hit that 750 mark but we can always strive for anything past 800.

Hope to hear from you soon!
